Like the previous years the stressful show season ended with the “Red Bull Back to School Showtour” in America, that has taken me to different universities of the American East coast. I was on tour for two weeks and thereby I also answered questions for a marketing class at a “Q & A” (Question & Answer) event to the topics of sport marketing, event marketing and mainly Red Bull.
As I already have been at the East coast, I used the opportunity to visit my friend and trial colleague Chris Clark in New York. Unfortunately I always didn’t had the time to hit the town with him – we had to catch up this! Stefan Voitl, photographer and “Neo” film-maker, alos was at the start, who has realized a small photo and video project for me.
The project arose very short-termed, not even a week before my stop in New York City I first contacted Stefan. He was on holiday at the West coast and flight quickly in the “Big Apple”, in order to work with me on this project. Our plan, to hit the city together with Chris, collapsed even at the first day of the shooting, as he injured himself at the ankle and had to pause for the rest of the week. He showed us the best spots anyhow, amongst others my personal highlight – the Central Park – but thereof you will see more in our video clip.
Among biking there was still enough time to enjoy the “American way of life”. To relax in the “Sports bar” watching a football game, without knowing the rules, and eating snacks – so, you can enjoy yourself pretty good!
